K5-6th Grade Dress Code

Students wear uniform clothing that is purchased through any local department store or you may purchase from any on-line vendors that carry uniform style clothing.

 

Girls Daily Attire: Navy blue or khaki knee length skirt or loose fitting pants. White or navy blue polo shirt (long or short sleeve). Ankle socks, knee socks, tights, or leggings may be worn with knee length skirts. Solid colors: cream, tan, navy, blue, or black full shoe: Casual athletic, or dress sandals with back straps are permitted. 

 

Girls Grooming Standards: Hair must be fixed neatly. Extreme colors and styles are not permitted. Makeup may be worn in moderation beginning in 7th grade.

 

Boys Daily Attire: Navy blue or khaki pants – loose fitting. White or navy blue polo shirt (long or short sleeve) and all shirts must be tucked in. Belts in black, tan, or blue should be worn if the pants have belt loops. Socks must be worn. Full shoe: Casual, athletic, or dress.

 

Boys Grooming Standards: Hairstyles must be conservative and only slightly over the ear, and kept off the collar and eyebrows. Hair is to be combed and neat at all times. Extreme colors and styles are not permitted. The only jewelry permitted is a watch, ring, and/or necklace worn inside the shirt.

 

Boys and Girls P.E. : need to wear t-shirts, knee length shorts.

 

 

7th-12th GradE DRESS CODE

Students’ dress must always be conservative, modest, and reflect a genuine commitment to Christ. The administrator has the responsibility of determining the appropriateness or inappropriateness of any item of the dress code.

 

Young Ladies’ Daily Attire:

Skirts/Dresses: Skirts/dresses must be neat, conservative, loose fitting, and cover the knee when sitting. Slits may be no higher than the knee when sitting. Denim is not permitted.

 

Slacks: Slacks must be neat, conservative, loose fitting, and professional in appearance. Denim and blue jeans are not permitted.

 

Shirts: A shirt with a collar, rounded, or oval neck, short or long sleeves may be worn. Blouses, sweaters, and dresses must have a modest neckline and fit properly (not tight). They are not to have any slogans or writing on them other than the manufacturer’s label, which should not be larger than 2 inches. They may be any color, but they are to be loose fitting. T-shirts are not permitted for daily wear.

 

Footwear: Casual dress shoes, athletic shoes, dress shoes, or sandals with a heel securing strap are to be worn at all times.

 

Hair: Hair must be fixed neatly. Extreme colors and styles are not permitted.

 

Jewelry, Accessories, and Makeup: These must be in good taste and not gaudy, punk, gothic, or otherwise incompatible with the philosophy of the school.

 

Young Men’s Daily Attire:

Slacks: Dress slacks or Dockers-style cotton twill pants should be worn with a simple, solid belt. Colors may be solid black, navy, and khaki.

 

Shirts: A shirt with a collar and either short or long sleeves should be worn. These may be polo, oxford, or any type as long as they have a fold over collar. Shirts are to be tucked in. They are not to have any slogans or writing on them other than the manufacturer’s label, which should not be larger than 2 inches. They may be any color, but they are to be loose fitting.

 

Footwear: Full dress shoes, casual dress shoes, nice boots, or athletic shoes must be worn with socks at all times.

 

Hair: Hairstyles must be conservative and only slightly over the ear, kept off the collar and eyebrows. Hair is to be combed and neat at all times. Extreme colors and styles are not permitted. Faces must be clean shaven – beards, goatees, and mustaches are not permitted. Sideburns must not be lower than the bottom of the ear.

 

Hats: Hats and other headgear may not be worn in classes.

 

Jewelry: The only jewelry that is permitted is a watch, ring, bands, or necklace.
